Careers: Channel Sales and Consulting Agents EMEA

Channel Enablers is recruiting independent contractor sales and consulting agents to expand its presence in its Americas, Asia-Pacific and European operations. Right now we are specifically looking for English, German, Spanish and French-speaking consultants within Europe. These consultants would both sell and deliver channel training workshops and may also be involved in consulting engagements.

The most successful candidates will have the following characteristics:

  • You must be able to demonstrate indirect channels domain expertise - having worked in a management role, a vendor channels role, or for a channel partner
  • You will have experience delivering training and will have references that can vouch for the quality of what you do. We find that the best trainers enjoy training others and are strong ‘front of house’ performers. Ideally you will have delivered both knowledge training and skills training for a variety of group sizes. You are probably delivering some training now – perhaps as an independent contractor – or perhaps as part of a larger corporation. We are even more interested if you also have experience consulting around indirect channels.
  • A track record in sales in the I.T industry. Bottom line – you can sell – and can do so at executive levels where you are comfortable talking concepts and business solutions not products. Personal sales experience is most likely to be sales of complex products such as services, consulting, software or high end hardware. You will most likely have sold to large accounts rather than a large number of small transactional sales. You will know how to uncover client problems and sell value
  • You will have an excellent reputation and relevant personal network. Honesty, integrity and customer focus will be among your core values
  • You are available and able to travel
  • You will be set up to work out of home when needed. Channel Enablers consultants and trainers are senior independently motivated and successful people. Many of our people prefer to work from home and are set up to do so.
  • To be successful in this role you must want to be an independent contractor and understand the investment and risk required to be an independent channel sales agent. This position is for independent contractors - it has no salary, but is compensated with sales commissions and fees for delivering training and consulting that are near the top of the "sales training industry".

 

In this role you will be actively pursuing new business development (pursuing leads generated by Channel Enablers marketing efforts as well as self-developed leads). You will be selling to titles such as: VP Sales, VP Channel Sales, VP Worldwide Channels, CLO, Director HR/Training, VP Business Development, VP Channel Marketing, VP Alliances, VP SMB Sales, VP Resellers.

Ideally you will be able to conduct some of the training workshops that you sell and you will manage the implementation of the training/consulting solution for your clients to maximize their ROI.
